A Catholic Independent Primary School for boys and girls aged 3 to 11

Laleham Lea History

Laleham Lea has been in existence as a school for over a hundred years. It occupies a traditional and attractive building which has been adapted and extended to provide excellent modern facilities.

From 1963 until 1977 it served as the Preparatory School for the nearby John Fisher Boys' School. In 1994 girls were admitted and the school is now fully co-educational. The Nursery began operating in 1997.

Together with the Infant Department the Early Years team provide an excellent foundation for future learning throughout the school. Our Nursery is very popular with parents, places are booked well into the future.

Laleham Lea has an ample play area, having two large playgrounds, a substantial lawn and well-equipped adventure playground. The school also has full use of the excellent facilities belonging to the nearby John Fisher School, these include the Chapel, playing fields and concert hall.
