At Key Stage 1 and 2 the curriculum aims to give the children the opportunity to investigate the physical and human features of their surroundings including map skills, the weather, world climate, the locality of the school and its environment.

                Studying environments: who lives where

At Key Stage 2 the children are taught to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of different peoples, places and environments in both the UK and the rest of the world. The study of Physical Geography is supplemented by visits to local places of interest. and environmental issues such as local traffic are also covered.
